Township of Washington, NJ, May 12, 2008 – Mr. Kevin J. Lynch, Chairman, President, and CEO, announced that the Board of Directors of Oritani Financial Corp. has promoted Rosanne P. Buscemi to Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer. Mrs. Buscemi has served in management positions within Oritani for 30 years and has progressively expanded her responsibilities.
Mrs. Buscemi will now oversee the Bank’s regulatory compliance efforts and will continue to supervise the acquisition, renovation, and development of branch facilities, including management of security. Mrs. Buscemi will also implement a new Training Department that will focus on developing programs to enhance employees’ current job knowledge as well as assure the advancement of qualified candidates within the Bank. Mrs. Buscemi also serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Food Action, a non profit, non sectarian emergency services organization. Mrs. Buscemi has a BA from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. She is married and resides in Closter, New Jersey.
Mr. Lynch is also pleased to announce that Oritani has named Anthony V. Bilotta, Jr. Senior Vice President of Retail Banking. This appointment will support the growth of the Bank’s retail franchise. As Senior Vice President of Retail Banking, Mr. Bilotta will oversee the Bank’s branch and retail operations. Mr. Bilotta brings 27 years of experience in senior positions in the banking industry to his new job. Mr. Bilotta is a graduate of Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, New Jersey. He is married with one child and resides in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
