Township of Washington, NJ, August 20, 2008 – The Oritani Savings Bank Charitable Foundation is pleased to announce a $10,000 grant to Camp Shalom, the Bergen County YJCC’s summer day camp for children and young adults with special needs.
The grant was presented on July 31st by the President of the Oritani Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, Kevin Lynch, at “A Very Special Art Show” at the YJCC. The art show, showcasing original artwork created by Camp Shalom participants, is part of the camp’s therapeutic and adaptive skill development program.
The Oritani Savings Bank Foundation was established in 2007 to assist not-for-profit organizations that help to improve the quality of life for residents in Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties.
